The Open-Source tool GNU privacy guard implements the de-facto public key standard PGP (Pretty good Privacy) und makes these functionalities free available. With the two programming interfaces GPGME (C/C++) and PyME (Python) you can use the tool from your custom applications (at the moment only included in FreeGee Professional.).
